My faith is the foundation of everything I do.
While I attend a non-denominational church, my faith is not rooted in a denomination, religious tradition, or a system of rules. At its core, my faith is about relationship; relationship with Abba Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit.
I believe God created us for relationship with Him from the very beginning. Throughout Scripture, we see His desire to dwell among His people, to walk with them, and to reveal His love, goodness, and faithfulness. Yet sin created separation between humanity and God.
I believe Jesus Christ did not come to create a new religion. He came as the fulfillment of God's promises and the fulfillment of prophecy. Through His life, Jesus revealed the heart of the Father and demonstrated what a life lived in complete obedience and relationship with God looks like.
I believe Jesus is the Son of God who lived a perfect, sinless life and willingly became the ultimate sacrificial Lamb. Through His death, burial, and resurrection, we are offered forgiveness, redemption, reconciliation, and restored relationship with God. By His blood, the separation caused by sin was removed, and a way was made for us to come boldly before the Father.
Before His ascension, Jesus promised that the Holy Spirit would come. I believe that promise remains true today. The Holy Spirit is not merely a doctrine or theological concept but the living presence of God dwelling within believers. Through the Holy Spirit, we are guided, comforted, convicted, strengthened, transformed, and empowered to live the lives God has called us to live.
I believe we are now temples of the Holy Spirit and have direct access to God. As we grow in relationship with Him, our lives begin to reflect His character. Our vertical relationship with God transforms our horizontal relationships with others. Healing, freedom, restoration, and purpose flow from remaining connected to Him.
I believe Scripture is God's inspired Word and serves as the foundation for truth, wisdom, and discernment. It is through His Word and His Spirit that we learn who God is, who we are, and how we are called to live.
I believe we are called to be salt and light in a world desperately searching for truth. We are not called to conform to the patterns of this world but to be transformed by the renewing of our minds and to reflect the love, grace, and truth of Christ in our everyday lives.
I believe every person is created in the image of God and therefore possesses inherent worth, dignity, purpose, and value. No life is beyond redemption. No wound is beyond healing. No story is beyond God's ability to restore.
I believe followers of Jesus are called to participate in His mission of bringing others from darkness into light. We are called to love, serve, disciple, encourage, and point people toward the hope found in Christ. We are not the source of healing, transformation, or salvation. God alone is.
Everything I do through coaching, teaching, ministry, advocacy, support groups, retreats, and community is grounded in this belief: that true healing, freedom, identity, and purpose are found through relationship with Abba Father, through the saving work of Jesus Christ, and through the transforming power of the Holy Spirit.
My faith is not about religion.
It is about relationship.
It is about knowing God, being transformed by His presence, and helping others discover the hope, healing, freedom, and purpose that are available through Him.
