My approach begins with a simple truth: I am not the healer..... God is. While education, coaching, practical tools, and supportive relationships all play important roles in personal growth, I believe true healing and lasting transformation come from God alone. My role is not to fix people, rescue people, or become the source of their healing. Instead, I walk alongside individuals as they learn to connect more deeply with God, discover His truth, and partner with Him in the healing process.
For many years, I searched for answers through achievement, service, caregiving, advocacy, ministry, education, and personal effort. While each of those things had value, none of them could provide what only God could provide. Through my own healing journey, God revealed that true freedom begins when we stop striving and start surrendering. As a result, the foundation of my approach is built upon relationship with God rather than performance, behavior modification, or self-improvement alone.
Everything I do is rooted in biblical truth and the belief that every person is created in the image of God with inherent worth, dignity, purpose, and potential. I believe healing is not simply about reducing symptoms or managing difficult circumstances. It is about restoring alignment between our identity, our thoughts, our emotions, our relationships, and God's design for our lives.
Many people spend years defining themselves by wounds, diagnoses, failures, accomplishments, titles, relationships, or life experiences. Yet Scripture teaches that our identity is ultimately found in Christ. When we begin to understand who God is and who He says we are, transformation becomes possible. My goal is to help individuals move beyond the labels that have shaped them and discover the freedom that comes from seeing themselves through God's eyes.
Life leaves marks on all of us. Trauma, grief, loss, rejection, abandonment, addiction, abuse, disappointment, betrayal, and prolonged seasons of suffering often shape how we view ourselves, others, and even God. As a trauma-informed coach, I recognize that many present-day struggles are connected to deeper wounds that have never been fully processed or healed.
Many of the struggles we face today are rooted in experiences, wounds, and beliefs formed long before we recognized their impact on our lives. Rather than focusing solely on symptoms or behaviors, I seek to understand the story behind them. Healing often begins when we feel safe enough to be honest about our experiences and allow God to meet us there. Together, we create space for truth, grace, and reflection while inviting the Holy Spirit to reveal what is true, what may need healing, and what God desires us to understand about ourselves, our story, and His heart toward us.
One of the most transformative practices in my own healing journey has been listening prayer. Many people spend years talking to God but never learn how to quiet the noise around them and intentionally listen for His guidance, comfort, conviction, and truth. I believe the Holy Spirit continues to actively work in the lives of believers today, guiding, teaching, comforting, and transforming us as we grow in relationship with Him.
Listening prayer is not about seeking mystical experiences. It is about cultivating a deeper awareness of God's presence and creating space for Him to reveal truth, bring comfort, and guide the healing process. Through Scripture, prayer, reflection, and spiritual disciplines, we learn to recognize His voice and respond to His leading. As we learn to listen, we often discover that God has been speaking all along.
While spiritual growth is essential, healing must also be lived out in everyday life. Faith is not merely something we believe; it is something we practice. Alongside biblical encouragement and spiritual formation, I utilize practical coaching tools that help individuals identify limiting beliefs, develop healthier thought patterns, improve communication, establish healthy boundaries, navigate grief and life transitions, strengthen relationships, and clarify personal values and goals.
Lasting transformation occurs when truth moves from our heads into our hearts and begins shaping the way we live, think, relate, and respond to the world around us. Growth happens when biblical truth and practical application come together in everyday life.
God never intended us to heal in isolation. Throughout Scripture we see the importance of community, encouragement, accountability, and discipleship. While personal growth requires individual responsibility, meaningful transformation often occurs in the context of healthy relationships.
Whether through individual coaching, support groups, workshops, retreats, ministry gatherings, or discipleship relationships, I believe community plays a vital role in healing and growth. We all need people who will remind us of truth when we forget it, encourage us when we feel discouraged, and walk alongside us as we continue growing in our relationship with God.
The ultimate goal is not dependence on me—it is deeper dependence on God. My desire is that every person I serve would grow in their ability to hear God's voice, understand His Word, embrace their God-given identity, and confidently pursue the purpose He has placed on their life. I want individuals and families to leave feeling equipped, empowered, and encouraged not because they found all the answers, but because they learned where true answers are found.
I believe healing is possible. I believe freedom is possible. I believe restoration is possible. I believe purpose is possible—not because of a program, a method, or a coach, but because God is still in the business of restoring hearts, renewing minds, healing wounds, and transforming lives.
My approach is simple: to create a safe place for truth, healing, growth, and transformation while continually pointing people back to the One who makes all things new.
