My path to Christian Mental Health Coaching and Mentoring has developed through more than two decades of experience in education, disability advocacy, family support, ministry, and pastoral care, along with continued professional training in psychology and mental health coaching. Each of these areas has shaped the way I walk alongside individuals and families with a combination of practical tools, biblical truth, compassion, and an understanding that people are more than the circumstances or challenges they are facing.

I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences with an emphasis in Psychology from the University of Hawai‘i–West O‘ahu. I later became a Florida certified educator and spent more than twelve years working with children and students with disabilities, including students with Autism Spectrum Disorder and varying exceptionalities. I hold a Florida Professional Educator’s Certificate in Exceptional Student Education K–12, Elementary Education K–6, Pre-K/Primary Education Age 3–Grade 3, and a Reading Endorsement. I also completed the 40-hour Registered Behavior Technician training through the Autism Partnership Foundation.

My work as an educator eventually expanded into educational consulting and advocacy through Limitless Ability Educational Services. As a Master IEP Coach®, I have worked alongside families navigating special education, IEPs, disability services, accommodations, parent advocacy, and the many decisions that come with supporting a child with unique abilities. Having spent years both as an educator and as an advocate, I understand the importance of bringing families and professionals together in ways that recognize the needs, strengths, dignity, and potential of the individual at the center of the conversation.

Ministry has developed alongside my professional work for more than a decade. Within the local church, I have served in lay pastoral care, discipleship, special needs ministry, family support, and ministry leadership. My work in special needs ministry included helping develop curriculum and creating opportunities for children and adults with disabilities to participate meaningfully in the life of the church. My ministry experience has continued to expand into grief and bereavement support, retreats, prison ministry, mentoring, and walking alongside individuals and families experiencing difficult or transitional seasons of life.

As my work increasingly brought me alongside people navigating grief, trauma, addiction and recovery, caregiving, relationships, identity, and major life transitions, I pursued additional training specifically in Christian mental health coaching. Through Light University, I completed advanced training in both Professional Mental Health Coaching and Youth Professional Mental Health Coaching, with areas of study including Grief and Loss, Addiction and Recovery, Life Recovery, Human Flourishing, Military and First Responder Care, Trauma-Informed Care, Brain Health, and Marriage & Family.

Today, I bring these areas together through Limitless Ability. My background in psychology helps me understand human behavior and development. My years as an educator and advocate give me practical experience working with children, adults, caregivers, and families navigating complex needs. My ministry experience has taught me the importance of listening, discipleship, community, and meeting people where they are. My mental health coaching training provides additional tools for helping individuals identify patterns, develop healthy strategies, navigate difficult seasons, and move toward meaningful growth.

Christian Mental Health Coaching and Mentoring is not about having all the answers or trying to fix another person. My role is to provide a safe and supportive space for honest conversation, practical growth, reflection, and biblical discipleship while recognizing when needs extend beyond the scope of coaching and require licensed clinical or medical care.

At the center of everything I do is my belief that every person has God-given worth and purpose. Whether I am serving through coaching, mentoring, education, advocacy, ministry, workshops, support communities, or retreats, my desire is to help people become better equipped to navigate what is in front of them while growing in their relationship with Jesus and understanding more fully who they were created to be.
